The Finnish Cultural Institute in New York is looking for Finnish visual arts (art, design, architecture) professionals to participate in MOBIUS, a fellowship program that enables transatlantic mobility and collaborative practices and supports long-lasting professional relationships. The participants are expected to work as part of hosting organization’s staff in New York for several months during Fall and Winter 2014 or Spring 2015.
MOBIUS is a 3-year pilot program organized by the Finnish Institute in London and the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York. The program will carry results such as exhibitions, publications, research, events, and other outcomes that will find their form during the process. Each fellowship will be tailored specifically to meet the needs of both the hosting organization and its fellow. The Finnish Cultural Institute in New York focuses on both independent and institutional visual arts professionals whereas the Finnish Institute in London focuses on museum and archive professionals.
The call for visual arts professionals opens on February 18th and runs until March 23rd, 2014.
