Helsinki School at Paris Photo

A group of photography artists, Helsinki School is participating the annual Paris Photo art fair this November. This year in total 136 galleries from 30 countries have been selected to the fair.

Paris Photo is considered to be one of the most important art fairs in the world. Helsinki School artists are exhibited at the Paris Photo for the 10th time.

Helsinki School is an art group that consists of former and current students and teachers at the Aalto University School of Art and Design. Helsinki School artists are known for their conceptual approach to photography. Group members have participated international art fairs and exhibitions in Europe, Asia and North America. Helsinki School is represented by Gallery Taik Persons, which has been running in Berlin since 2003.

Aalto University is a multidisciplinary university of technology, economics and art. Established in 2010, Aalto University was created by a merger of the Helsinki School of Economics, Helsinki University of Technology and the University of Art and Design Helsinki.

Paris Photo is organized 14–17 November in Grand Palais, Paris, France.
