Frame invites grant applications for contemporary art projects

Frame Contemporary Art Finland’s project grant applications for international contemporary art projects in 2019 opened on Friday 1 March. Frame invites applications from organisations for exhibition projects or publications presenting Finnish artists.

Project grants are available for contemporary art projects with Finnish artists taking place in 2019. Grants are awarded in the following fields of contemporary art: visual art, photography, media art, applied art, comics art, performance art and sound art.

Frame’s travel grants for trips in 2019 can be applied continuously. Within Frame’s grant programme, foreign art experts can apply for travel grant for work-related visits to Finland (until 31 August).

 

Deadline

The deadline for project grant applications is on Sunday 31 March 2019 at 11.59 pm Finnish time (GMT +2).

Grant applications are to be submitted online via https://frame.apurahat.net/frame/.

Grant decisions

Frame will notify all applicants of its decision individually. Successful projects will be posted on Frame’s website. Travel grant decisions on expert visits will be made four times a year.

Frame’s grant procedure is based on the annual state subsidies received from the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.
