Coronavirus: flexibility on Frame’s awarded grants

Many international contemporary art projects will be affected by the coronavirus pandemic during the year of 2020. We understand that this will affect many projects and travels that have been awarded with grants by Frame. If your project or travel is cancelled or postponed, please contact us to discuss changes in the use of the grant. We can award additional funding to complete postponed grant projects. This way we can secure the equal treatment of the grant applicants and sufficient funding to help to complete the projects in the future.

Changes available for awarded grants

  • If your project is postponed, we can extend the timeframe of the grant until the end of 2020. Inform us about new dates.
  • If your project is cancelled, you can apply for a change. Present us an equivalent project plan.

If you have any incurred costs such as travel, accomodation, transport, insurance or installation expenses that neither your airline, organising party or your insurance company will compensate for, Frame can award a special grant to help you complete the project during the year of 2020. The maximum amount of the special grant is the same amount of the original awarded grant.

Please contact us through the grant service

Please do not hesitate to contact us through the grants service with any question regarding awarded grants. Please inform us as soon as possible about cancellations or postponements of projects by sending us a message through the system. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
