This season we are happy to welcome four new team members at Frame.
The programme team is bolstered with two new professionals, Producer Lebohang Tlali and Programme Assistant Annabelle Antas.
At Frame, Lebohang Tlali will be taking care of the Rehearsing Hospitalities event production in Autumn and upcoming Spring. Lebohang has previously worked with several art institutions including Visual Arts Network of South Africa (VANSA), Cape Africa Platform and Stevenson. Most recently he has been an events coordinator and curatorial assistant for the 10th Berlin Biennale’s public programme. He is a graduate of Kaospilot Switzerland-Denmark and often embarks on socially engaged artistic projects.
Annabelle Antas will be working as a Programme Assistant at Frame, helping the programme team especially with the expert visitor programme and the RH public programme. Annabelle’s background is in photography and fine art. Annabelle continues to work also as a freelance lifestyle and interior photographer, on her own artistic projects and as an artist educator. Annabelle’s position at Frame is supported by the Swedish Cultural Foundation.
The new Communications Assistant Stella Sironen will be helping with daily communications, such as Frame’s website, social media channels and event communications. Stella is currently studying Art History at the University of Helsinki and has a background in makeup art and social media.
Jaakko Uoti also joined us in August as the new Grants Coordinator. Jaakko is in charge of Frame grants, including advising applicants and grant recipients. Before joining Frame, Jaakko was working as a coordinator in the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of the Arts Helsinki. The grants coordinator position is a fixed-term parental leave coverage.
We are excited about this opportunity to create meaningful work with new colleagues and are looking forward to building fruitful friendships!
