New and familiar faces at Frame

This summer we were happy to welcome four new team members at Frame. As familiar faces, we welcome back Grants Coordinator Veera Lizé and Project Coordinator of Venice Biennale Francesco Raccanelli. As newcomers, we welcome Programme Assistant Arvid van Der Rijt and Communications Assistant Katri Kuisma

As the Communications Assistant Katri Kuisma will be helping with daily communications and content creation for the website, newsletter and social media platforms of Frame. Katri is currently studying Art History at the University of Helsinki, and has background in communications. Before joining Frame, Katri has worked as an Exhibition Invigilator in The Finnish National Gallery and Venice Biennale.

Veera Lizé has returned to our team as Grants Coordinator after a family leave. The Grants Coordinator is responsible for Frame’s grant activities and advising artists. Previously, Veera has worked at the French Institute of Finland and UNESCO in Paris, and at the artist residency organisation HIAP in Helsinki. She has a background in art history, art theory and exhibition planning from Finland and Germany.

Francesco Raccanelli is an art professional from Italy with a background in Art History and Cultural Heritage. Since 2011, he has been involved in in numerous exhibition productions at the Venice Biennale, collaborating with international institutions such as Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen – Ifa and British Council. After moving to Finland in 2019, he has worked as a project coordinator at Archinfo Finland and Frame in their respective Venice Biennale exhibitions. 

Programme Assistant Arvid van der Rijt works in Frame’s programme team and takes care of the arrangements concerning the Visitor Programme and other current projects, such as Islands of Kinship. Arvid is an audiovisual artist and holds a BFA in sculpture from the AKI in the Netherlands and a MFA from the University of Arts in Helsinki. After relocating to Finland he co-founded Filmverkstaden, an association focused on analogue film techniques and was chairperson for Platform, an artist-run space in Vaasa with an international residency programme. Arvid’s position at Frame is supported by the Swedish Cultural Foundation.
