Grant decisions of Spring 2026 published

Frame distributes funds from the Ministry of Culture and Education to promote Finnish contemporary arts internationally.

The decisions based on the March 2026 grant rounds are now published on Frame’s website. The grants were awarded for international contemporary art projects featuring Finnish and Finland-based artists in 2026–2027.

A total of 37 074 euros were awarded in grants among 15 applicants in Frame’s March 2026 mobility grant application round. We received 227 mobility grant applications altogether with a total applied sum of € 540 849. Out of all mobility grant applications, 7 % was awarded with a grant.

A total of 16 500 euros were awarded in grants among 5 applicants in Frame’s March 2026 production grant application round. We received 75 production grant applications altogether with a total applied sum of € 460 953. Out of all production grant applications, 7 % was awarded with a grant.

A total of 20 000 euros were awarded in grants among 5 applicants in Frame’s March 2026 publication grant application round. We received 49 publication grant applications altogether with a total applied sum of € 226 649. Out of all publication grant applications, 10 % was awarded with a grant.

Frame supports international activities in Finnish contemporary art. Our grants support the presentation and production of artworks abroad, participation in art fairs and other professional events, and art publications intended for international distribution.
