Grants are awarded in the following fields of contemporary art: visual art, photography, media art, applied art, comics art, performance art and sound art.

Grants are awarded to artists who are either Finnish or based in Finland as well as to Finnish or international curators, producers and organisations. Applications are invited for exhibitions held abroad, participation in art fairs, foreign-language publications and expert visits, and for covering travel, accommodation or transportation expenses.

Applications apply only to projects planned for 2016. Grants may not be applied for retroactively. The application deadline is 30 November 2015 at 11:59 pm Finnish time (GMT +2).

Grant applications are to be submitted online via Frame’s grant service.

Detailed information on the application procedure is available on the Grants section on our website.
