First grant decisions of 2024 are published

Frame distributes funds from the Ministry of Culture and Education to promote Finnish contemporary arts internationally.

The decisions based on the November-December 2023 grant rounds are now published on Frame’s website. The grants were awarded for international contemporary art projects featuring Finnish and Finland-based artists in 2024.

A total of 104,705 euros were awarded in grants among 24 applicants in Frame’s November 2023 project grant application round. We received 74 applications altogether. 

A total of 26,500 euros were awarded in grants among 13 applicants in Frame’s November-December 2023 travel grant application round. We received 95 applications together. 

Frame’s grants support international exhibitions, publications, participation in art fairs, and art professionals’ international travels. Grant decisions are based on peer review assessments.

Our current project grant call is open until Sunday 31 March 2024. Travel grants can be applied continuously.
