ArtHelsinki launches a Gallerist-in-Residence programme

ArtHelsinki International Fair for Contemporary Art initiates the first Gallerist-In-Residence programme inviting a representative for ArtHelsinki participant to get acquainted with Helsinki’s fascinating art scene.

The Gallerist-In-Residence programme grants one representative for ArtHelsinki participant a two-week residency, all costs covered, with a tailored programme giving thorough insight to the art scene and artistic practices in Helsinki.

The world’s first Gallerist-In-Residence programme is organised in collaboration with Frame Contemporary Art Finland in order to facilitate new artistic encounters with the Helsinki art scene and the international gallery scene at large. All the gallerists participating at the ArtHelsinki International Fair for Contemporary Art are eligible to apply.

Applying for the Gallerist-In-Residence programme opens after the ArtHelsinki participants are announced.

ArtHelsinki, International Fair for Contemporary Art, will open as an entirely renewed and curated fair for contemporary art in September 7–11, 2016 at Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Center, at the same time with Habitare, one of the biggest furniture, interior decoration and design fairs in the Nordic countries. ArtHelsinki will present an ambitiously curated and architecturally innovative event showcasing a variety of commercial galleries and non-profit initiatives accompanied by a socially engaging, extensive and creative programme.
