The open call for The Finnish Cultural Institute in New York’s 2018 residencies is now open. Institute invites architects, designers and artists at all stages of their careers to apply for the residency.
Finnish Cultural Institute’s Independent Residency
The FCINY has been hosting independent residencies for Finnish contemporary artists, designers and architects since its founding in 1990. The focus of the residency program lies on research, artistic dialogue and cultural exchange. All members of Finnish Associations for artists (STS), designers (Ornamo) and architects (SAFA) are eligible to apply.

Alfred Kordelin Foundation’s Residency at ISCP
April is also the month to apply to the International Studio and Residency Program ISCP’s residency, supported by the Alfred Kordelin Foundation. This residency program is aimed at artists who are in the early or middle stages of their career. Two artists will be chosen for 6 month residencies in 2018.
