Josefina Barcia

Argentine curator based in New York whose practice bridges contemporary art, performance, sound and archival research within Latin American and Global South contexts. She holds an MA in Curatorial Studies from Bard College, and in 2026 curated Monitor Yin Yang by MatíasDuville for the Argentine Pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale. From 2011 to 2021 she worked in the Curatorial Department at MALBA, Buenos Aires, and later as a Hartwig Foundation Curatorial Fellow at Performa, New York.
