May grant round results published

The decisions based on Frame’s May 2026 mobility grant application round are published. The grants were awarded for international contemporary art presentations featuring Finnish and Finland-based artists in 2026–2027. Frame distributes funds from the Ministry of Culture and Education to promote Finnish contemporary arts internationally.

A total of 32,015 euros was awarded in grants among 15 applicants in May application round. We received 166 mobility grant applications, with a total application amount of €404,416. Of all mobility grant applications, 9% were awarded a grant.

Frame supports international activities in Finnish contemporary art. Our grants support the presentation and production of artworks abroad, participation in art fairs and other professional events, and art publications intended for international distribution.

The next application round is in October 2026, when we invite applications for mobility and production grants.

Thank you to all the applicants!
