You are warmly invited to meet Saad Eddine Said who is CEO and Artistic Director of New Art Exchange (Nottingham, UK) – the UK’s largest gallery dedicated to contemporary visual artists from the Global Ethnic Majority.
Saad is a strategic cultural leader reimagining institutional leadership and governance by building bold partnerships between communities, creatives and cultural institutions. During the event, Saad will speak about his new book RETURN, Placing Citizen Voice at the Heart of Cultural Leadership. The book reflects on New Art Exchange’s transformation into becoming the first cultural institution worldwide with a permanent citizen assembly as part of its leadership structure.
The event will include a presentation of Saad’s work and an informal Q&A facilitated by Emma Beverley, Director of HIAP Helsinki International Artist Programme.
